Accessibility
PlainTalkMortgage is built to be usable by every California borrower, including borrowers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or enlarged text. Accessibility is part of how the site is written and checked, not a feature added afterwards.
What is in place
- Semantic HTML. Pages use real headings in order, lists, tables with header cells, and landmarks, so assistive technology can navigate by structure.
- Keyboard navigation. Every link, form field, and calculator works by keyboard alone, with a skip link to the main content and a visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast. Text and background colour pairs are checked for contrast, and information is never carried by colour alone.
- Calculators. Inputs are labelled form fields, results are announced through polite live regions for screen-reader users, and errors are written next to the field they belong to.
- Reading size. Reverse-mortgage pages use an enlarged reading size, and all pages respect your browser's text-size settings.
- Images. Photographs and meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative images are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
Known limits
Some linked resources live on other organisations' websites — government agencies, Loan Factory — and their accessibility is those organisations' responsibility. If any part of these pages is hard to use with your technology, that is a defect to fix, and the fastest route is to ask for the same information another way.
Request help or another format
Call 415-297-6703 or email [email protected] and say what you need: a page read over the phone, information in larger print, or help completing anything the site asks for. Loi Tran will provide the same information in a format that works for you.

A California mortgage question? Talk with Loi directly.
A consultation is a conversation, not an application. Loi will walk through your numbers, say plainly whether the loan fits, and tell you what it would take to qualify — whether or not you move forward. No credit pull to start.
