Privacy

Effective October 15, 2026. Here is what information the website collects, who handles it, how long it is kept, and how to get it changed or deleted.

What the consultation form asks for

The form on the contact page asks for your name, email address, and — only if you want a call or text back — your phone number. It also asks what the loan is for, the property's county, rough price or balance numbers, your employment type, and, if you choose, an income range and your own description of your credit. Those answers are emailed to Loi Tran at his Loan Factory address, [email protected], so he can answer you.

Categories of information collected

The consultation form collects: identifiers — your name, email address, and, only if you ask for a call or text back, your phone number; property and loan details you type in — what the loan is for, the property's county, rough price, value or balance figures, your employment type, and, if you choose, an income range and your own description of your credit; how you want to be contacted; any note you add in your own words; and, when you ask for calls or texts, the consent record — the consent wording shown to you, whether you agreed, and when. With each request the website also records the internet (IP) address and browser type it came from, the page it was sent from, and the time, to prevent abuse and to show when and how consent was given. The form collects no other category of information.

Who handles your information

The website and its form run on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages, checks that a request comes from a person rather than an automated program (Cloudflare Turnstile), stores each request and its consent record in the website's database on Cloudflare, and sends the request by email to Loi Tran's Loan Factory address. Loan Factory, Inc. receives the request through that email address. Your information is not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.

How long it is kept

Requests and consent records in the website's database are kept for five years, so that a record of your consent to calls or texts exists for as long as it may be needed, and are then deleted automatically. The copy emailed to Loi's Loan Factory address is kept under Loan Factory's own record-keeping rules, which mortgage regulations set. You can ask for deletion sooner, as described below; a consent record may be kept while it is needed to honor a do-not-call request.

What the form never asks for

No Social Security number. No bank login, account number, or password. No tax returns, pay stubs, or documents of any kind. A consultation is not a loan application; applications happen inside Loan Factory's own systems, under Loan Factory's own privacy notice, which governs from that point.

Cookies and tracking

The website sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site trackers, and it does not allow other companies to collect information about your online activities over time or across other websites through it. Cloudflare's spam check sees the browser and network details it needs to tell a person from an automated program, and uses them for that purpose. The spam check on the contact page may set a short-lived security cookie. The hosting platform keeps ordinary server logs (internet address, browser type, pages requested) to run and protect the site.

Do Not Track

The website does not respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no cross-site tracking here to switch off.

Your information

To see what you submitted, correct it, have it deleted, or stop calls or texts, email [email protected] or call 415-297-6703. You can also reply STOP to any text. Information you submit is used only to answer your request and to keep the consent record the law requires when you ask for calls or texts.

Changes to this policy

If the way information is handled changes, the change is posted here with a new effective date before it takes effect.
